The Problem

International Baccalaureate students studying Information Technology needed a community site to discuss issues relating to their ITGS course.

The Solution

• Web Site Design:

  The forum design focuses on ease of use, consistent branding, and integration of Google Adwords advertising. Users will find clear calls to action for registering and adding posts.

• Branding:

  We needed something that represented the IT field without being too cheezy.  Ultimately we decided upon the use of the robot you see below as it represented information technology and also gave some character to the site.

• Easy to Update Site:

  BBpress seemed like the perfect solution for the forum.  In the past, the site ran with phpBB, which turned out to be heavier than necessary.  BBpress is easy to use, lightweight, and easy to update.

• Hosting:

  As the site is expected to grow in size over the coming years, we hosted it with our reliable servers, always ready for increases in traffic.
